HEOR / HTA Manager - UK
Hybrid role with travel to office twice a week in London
I am partnered with a leading pharmaceutical organisation in the process of expanding their UK focussed division, they are seeking a HEOR / HTA manager to join the team working on their entire pipeline in Oncology, Neurology and Nephrology. This is a fantastic opportunity that can help propel a talented health economist / HTA lead into the industry.
As part of this role you will be a technical expert on HTA policy and processes, acting as a key contributor to Market Access strategy and enabling commercialisation of products by driving and planning positive HTA decisions acrpss the UK in order to support optimal pricing .
The ROLE;
- Responsible for HTA submissions in UK, Ireland and CEE. Lead HTA scientific advice, managing the input of cross functional teams Contribute to strategy, advice and development of Market Access and HTA materials Contribute to creating / adapting value dossiers, objection handlers, HTA submissions Prepare business cases justifying national pricing schemes Partner effectively with all European colleagues in Market Access and HEOR ensuring alignment on all EU strategy in MA and HTA Effectively manage external teams and vendors supporting on the projects Manage HTA readiness and execution by leading development and communication for HTA strategy with MA team members. Adaptation of cost effectiveness analysis Keeping the company up to date on UK HTA landscape and NICE processes Maintain relationships with key stakeholders like NICE, SMC, AWMSG and educating them on the NICE requirements
MUST HAVE Qualifications;
- 3 - 4 years experience working in UK focussed HEOR or HTA for either NICE, a Pharma company or consultancy Previous HTA experience - Ideally experience working with the NICE, SMC or NCPE systems Solid understanding of the HTA system and principles in the UK and Ireland Strong project management and experience managing vendors and external teams Proven record of delivering high quality outputs on time
DESIREABLE Qualifications;
- Previous experience working with Anaemia, Rare diseases, oncology Developed network of HTA experts Understanding or working knowledge of Central and Eastern Europe Pricing, reimbursement or HTA processes Demonstrated knowledge of delivering HTA submissions Master’s degree within Health Economics, Epidemiology or another related discipline Understanding of Market Access deliverables Published publications or papers would be highly attractive. Fluent in English: Other languages would be beneficial
