Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Medical Affairs Executive to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis outside IR35 located in London. Our client is focused on producing a healthier world.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this role, you will support senior personnel in the development and evolution of procedures and processes such as SOPs, working practices, etc., when needed.
  • You will populate and uphold in-house medical affairs systems such as core claims database.
  • In a timely fashion, you will guarantee external shareholders such as PAGB, are notified of new product launches or discontinuations.
  • Discuss with third-party outsourcing agents to warrant that questions are managed effectively, precisely and in a timely fashion.
  • The ideal candidate will support the development of new claims for important brands.
  • Offer a medical affairs service to in-house staff such as regulatory, marketing, and sales, looking for advice from senior personnel in the medical team when required.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a pharmacy or life science discipline, ideally a 2:1 or above.
  • Acquaintance within a pharmaceutical/OTC establishment in a medical position with a copy of previous working background.
  • Know-how of pertinent advertising codes of practice such as PAGB/ABPI would be ideal.
  • Familiarity in consumer healthcare/OTC would be beneficial for the role.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Fluency in the English language.
