About this job:

Your main responsibilities would be:

  • Setting and allocating team business objectives (sales, OPEX and digital)
  • Supporting the development of product marketing strategies
  • Ensuring the execution of account plans by the sales team
  • Managing the representation of Astellas by account managers visits and actions to hospitals/physicians to ensure they understand the value proposition of Astellas’ medicine and its practical indication and application
  • Territory business analysis and planning; customer segmentation & targeting, activities and allocation of the appropriate resources
  • Building appropriate business relationships; developing and leveraging local KOL relationships and act as Astellas’ representative regionally/nationally
  • Setting territory business objectives; tracking performance & taking appropriate action
  • Selecting, recruiting & developing of sales representatives
  • Acquiring and maintaining specific high level medical and product knowledge in order to advise physicians correctly in new treatments and to be a trustworthy partner in certain therapeutic areas

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Solid experience in sales and account management in a pharmaceutical business
  • Proven track in a managing a sales team
  • Coaching and situational leadership combined with key account management experience
  • Acquainted with CRM planning systems
  • Experience in an international work environment

Preferred Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of sales management and multi-channel experience
  • Communicative written and spoken business English

Education/Qualifications:

  • Master (or Bachelor), preferable with a medical background
  • Degree level qualification life sciences, training, business would be an advantage
  • Marketing and sales experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
