Regional Commercial Manager - Mobile Healthcare Units - Northern UK

Our client operates and manages one of the UK's most extensive fleet of flexible mobile medical units and vehicles. Their vital, tailor-made facilities can be configured to suit a range of clinical environments and have been supporting NHS Trusts, Health Boards and private healthcare providers for over 10 years.

They understand today's challenging healthcare climate and pride themselves on providing cost effective mobile medical solutions that continue to provide continuity of care during periods of disruption.

As part of their ambitious growth plans, they're looking to appoint an experienced and high-energy Regional Commercial Manager. Reporting to the Divisional Director - Healthcare, you'll be a senior member of the team with responsibility for driving and executing the strategic sales plan in the North of the UK. Central to this new role is the identification of new business opportunities, evaluation of the market potential and ensuring utilisation of our assets.

Being 90% field-based, the position involves a consultative sales approach to key personnel within Endoscopy/Decontamination/Ophthalmology/ Procurement/Estates departments in NHS & Private Hospitals within the defined territory.
You will be part of a high calibre, achievement driven sales and delivery team, who share a strong belief in helping our customers to improve patient care and outcomes through the use of our mobile healthcare spaces.

Minimum candidate requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced sales environment from within the UK Healthcare industry
  • Proven experience of consistently achieving sales targets selling into the NHS
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the NHS environment and structure
  • Presentational and communication experience at senior level
  • Experience of preparing client quotes and supporting with tender documentation
  • Financially astute, with a strong understanding of margins and profit analysis
  • Ability to think strategically with strong commercial awareness and understanding
  • Ability to effectively plan and capitalise on opportunities and counter competitive threats
  • Experience of establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers
  • Strong customer focus with good negotiation/communication/presentation skills
