The Financial Accountant role:
ICON is recruiting for a Financial Accountant, on a Permanent basis, to join a thriving & growing team, based in our HQ in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant, to gain responsibilities in a range of Financial and Business Partnering driven activities, become commercially focused and be a key player within the Finance activities or the global organization.
The Financial Accountant, will be responsible for:
- Weekly cash-flow monitoring and reporting.
- Liaising with and assisting external auditors - at both group and local levels.
- Assisting Finance Manager with various relevant information requirements.
- Assisting Tax Manager with tax queries across a range of European entities.
- Manage full Trial Balance and maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare Monthly Financial Information for 2 or more European entities, including Management Accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial information is produced in order for the company to meet established goals and objectives while ensuring statutory requirements are adhered to.
- Calculation of Cost-plus revenue.
- Compliance (VAT returns, Statutory Financial Statements, CT returns and all other filings are completed and filed in accordance with local legislation & timelines).
- Ensuring all processes are SOX compliant.
To be considered for the Financial Accountant role:
- Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with good accounts preparation experience.
- Good Systems experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Experience assisting Finance Manager with various relevant information requirements.
