Who we are

The Western Parkland City Authority (WPCA) is responsible for coordination, delivery and investment attraction across the Western Parkland City, in collaboration with State and Commonwealth government agencies and with local councils.

The Western Parkland City includes the Blue Mountains, Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Penrith and Wollondilly. It is one of the fastest growing regions in Australia. By 2036, it will make up more than a quarter of the state’s entire population growth. By 2056, it is expected to be home to two million people - five times the size of Canberra.

A project of this scale is a mammoth undertaking backed by a $20 billion trilateral government City Deal and with landmark infrastructure like the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. It also includes the country’s most ambitious and exciting project - the new Bradfield City Centre development.

The Authority reports to a Board and the NSW Minister for Enterprise, Investment and Trade. For more information, please visit https://wpca.sydney/
