Role Details:

In this role, the Business Operations Associate will have a permanent and full-time contract. Remote, hybrid or office-based work will all be accepted.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Provide day to day administrative support to executive(s), line and staff managers. Duties are highly diverse administrative tasks and activities and may be confidential in nature. May provide work direction to her/his support staff within the department/function
  • Work in accordance with multiple processes, procedures or programs
  • Coordinate activities between departments and outside parties. Contact company employees at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports
  • Work on assignments where independent action, a high degree of initiative and quality are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations within guidelines. May handle special projects and execute research and data analysis tasks
  • Arrange and oversee administrative, logistical and hospitality aspects of internal department meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes as well as making the necessary business travel arrangements, compiling and distributing materials
  • Manage and maintain filing systems and department databases ensuring compliance with Records Retention policies and protocols
  • Serve as primary administrative liaison and point of reference for, staff, other internal contacts and cross-functional teams
  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance and oversee the activities of other support personnel


Minimum Required:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years administrative assistant or relevant experience
  • Ability to interact in a consistently professional manner with all levels of individuals both internally and externally
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet. As well as the ability to use various applications, including running reports, spreadsheets, email and the internet.
  • Ability to independently analyze problems, determine approach, present potential solutions and utilize experience and judgment for issue resolution, within guidelines
  • Solid prioritization, organization, and time management abilities. Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to independently and efficiently manage one's time and meet deadlines
  • Navigate effectively in a team based corporate environment
  • Coordinate activities among departments and outside parties
  • Excellent oral/written communication with team members, external clients and management Understand internal and external customers' requirements and expectations, and provide consistently outstanding customer service
  • Strong financial acumen, with understanding of budgets, margins, bill rates, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills in English - Demonstrating clarity in both written and verbal communications
  • Strong background in handling confidential material appropriately and with great care
