Location: North Carolina, United States - Home or Office based

Schedule: Full-time, permanent

CROMSOURCE is a growing international CRO dedicated to professional development and providing an excellent work-life balance, with a quality-focused, collaborative "one-team" culture, and we are looking for a dynamic person to join our in-house team as a Marketing and Corporate Communication Manager. You will support with positioning the Company brand in the market place and in translating the Company corporate image into all marketing, communication and internet based materials.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the work of the department supporting the fulfilment of the company's strategy
  • Manage the Company presence at marketing events, job fairs, etc.
  • Manage the development of new marketing and corporate communication materials, including proposals of new ideas and review/update of existing items
  • Coordinate and assist with research, analysis, authoring and maintenance of the marketing and corporate communication plan
  • Update the marketing and corporate communication plan with actual expenditure and newly approved marketing and corporate communication initiatives on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage the tracking of marketing and corporate communication expenditure and provide input for quarterly budget update/review
  • Provide support and assist with the conduct of the departments actions (general market research, analysis, reporting, surveys, external initiatives) and promotional material development (website, adverts, editorials, booths, brochures, giveaways, company branding)
  • Support aspects of the Company presence on the Internet, including management of internet based promotional tools (website, portals, social media)
  • Manage the provision of publications, gadgets, giveaways at events in which the Company participates
  • Manage the booking of marketing events, booth space and location, etc. with the organizers
  • Manage the booking of extra event services (e.g. booth furniture, business card scanners, etc)
  • Efficiently plan and coordinate the availability of the Company advertising banners, roll-ups etc. to ensure that they are available at the correct Company office (if transported to event by the Company attendees) in time for each event
  • Assist in the post even follow-up as required (e.g. uploading event lead information to CRM)
  • Conduct relevant research (dates, cost, location, size, etc.) concerning new marketing events under consideration by the Company
  • Manage the preparation, delivery and tracking of press releases
  • Manage the preparation of proposals with regard to new business possibilities, marketing opportunities and changes in the market
  • Perform web searches and read articles in order to support with competitor marketing analysis and generation of new marketing initiatives
  • Writes relevant SOPs


Education and Experience:
  • University Degree in scientific and/or business development discipline
  • Previous experience in Marketing and Communications area
  • Knowledge of the CRO, Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device industries
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel
