Syneos Health is embarking on a major transformation initiative, implementing Oracle Cloud ERP across the organization. This is an exciting new opportunity for the right candidate to develop processes and solutions for a functional module within this program initiative.

Description:

  • Partners with the Functional Lead & System Integrator (SI) - contributing to design decisions, making recommendations that achieve the business objectives and value proposition
  • Responsible for generating or reviewing required mapping documents, functional specifications, configuration documents.
  • Challenges, and provides an additional check on the business requirements provided by the functional lead.
  • Ensures the business requirements are appropriately represented by the system Integrator.
  • Provides guidance on system & UAT validation scenarios, scripts & their sequencing, performs defect triage & resolution.
  • Supports Data Conversion activities e.g., requirements for data extracts & Cutover.
  • Supports training through content provision, Works with the SI to ensure adequate documentation for knowledge transfer and handover to the product support team.


Skills & Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge with the Oracle Risk Cloud system or comparable solution or with processes in functional area of systems Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
  • 2+ years of increasing responsibility designing, implementing, and supporting globally deployed systems for middle to large capitalization companies
  • Domain knowledge in the related principles and procedures of the supported functional area
  • Problem solver, logical, critical thinker, with a big picture vision and continuous process improvement mindset to challenge preconceived ideas or previous solutions
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to concisely communicate with senior leadership, other stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships with business users, cross functional teams, and individuals. Able to mediate and resolve friction between teams
  • Knowledge of up and downstream integration points and dependencies between modules and processes to enable seamless solutions
  • Experience testing configured system functionality, and capturing defects which appear during testing
  • Knowledge of the data model and experience building reports/data extracts using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence tool with the ability to translate and visualize data in a concise and accurate way
  • Understanding of change management methodologies with in-depth knowledge of SDLC processes (waterfall, Agile), artifacts, and key project milestones. Experience with common Change Management tools (Jira)

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree preferred and or comparable work experience
  • Oracle Cloud certification in functional pillar preferred
  • Experience with Agile Methodology
