SENIOR ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

The Senior Account Development Specialist (SADS) supports Veristat’s ABM strategy and plays a fundamental role in achieving Veristat’s growth and revenue targets. The primary goal is to find, develop, and grow new accounts, while managing growth in current target accounts, generating qualified meetings, and driving new business opportunities to RFP, ensuring all defined KPI's are achieved. S/he conducts personalized outreach via phone and electronic media, after researching accounts, prospects, and products to craft customized content that communicates the value of Veristat solutions and brand. Documenting activities, and following standard processes is required. The SADS supports capabilities meetings and follow-up meetings to ensure meetings advance to RFP and RFP to win. The SADS will also assist with campaign outreach or follow-up, progressing qualified leads, and support a variety of internal business initiatives, process improvements, and advanced trainings/mentoring. S/he works in collaboration with Business Development, Marketing and Account Development.

Experience & Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 6-10 years of inside sales or sales experience required, with at least 4-6years of relevant clinical research organization (CRO) or life sciences experience required.
  • Proficient in Excel (including, pivots, formulas, v-lookups, graphs), Outlook, LinkedIn, Web-browser, and search engine navigation.
  • Significant experience with database management in a CRM preferred, Salesforce preferred.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic thinker.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) required; must be comfortable interfacing with various levels of business contacts, including executives, with a high level of professionalism.
  • Experience presenting and demonstrating key business offerings and concepts to a scientific audience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional prioritization capabilities, with an ability to see a task through to completion, despite other project demands.

Additional requirements

  • Driving/Travel Requirements: Travel up to 10% (US, Canada, or International)
  • Physical requirements: ability to occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.
  • Hours/Conditions: UK: 37.5-hourwork week
