JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Remote Based -QA Manager within the UK or Ireland with strong Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge and experience. Candidate must be legally authorized to work within the UK or Ireland.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is an Individual Contributor role (i.e., no Line Management) that requires strong Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge and experience to competently assess and adjudicate Quality Issues and any subsequent CAPA Plans, and to apply GCP perspectives to other responsibilities of the position. Requires strong knowledge and experience of an industry standard Quality Issue/CAPA management system.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Will apply GCP knowledge and experience to assessment of Quality Issues and other responsibilities of the position.
  • Will train, mentor, coach and challenge team members and process owners in the use of problem solving and process design tools, methodologies and techniques to drive continuous improvement.
  • Will demonstrate a risk assessment mindset to assess issue impact and determine what and who is affected, how to present this information and to whom, and offer possible solutions.
  • Will build Data Stories (i.e. actionable data insights, visuals, and a compelling narratives) to present and influence Decision-Makers to drive solutions.
  • Will develop controls to monitor the progress associated with implementation of recommended changes.
  • Will demonstrate strong project management skills, including an ability to plan and execute projects that meet cost, resource and outcome expectations; manage complex and/or competing priorities effectively; and meet commitments in an accurate and timely manner.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, as demonstrated by presentation of problems to appropriate people in an objective and non-judgmental manner; matching influence strategies to the situation; delivering oral and written communications with clarity and impact.
  • Ability to perform intermediate/advanced computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, an industry-standard QMS, etc.)
  • Strong leadership skills as demonstrated by:
  • Ability to apply innovation and exploration of non-traditional ideas in solving
  • problems
  • Ability to use personal energy and positive attitude to influence
  • Ability to prioritize work and adaptability to changing work demands
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Ability to negotiate issues and suggestions


  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree.
  • Minimum three to five years of GCP experience.
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
