Principle Scientific Associate (Analytical Development - Quality Control)

One of our major client, is looking for a Principle Scientific Associate (Analytical Development - Quality Control), to be able to support the Medical Device team.

This person must ensure that products are delivered according to quality standards defined during development and in compliance with GMP and regulatory

guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Sample preparation for testing, including sample registration and sample retrieval in coordination with sample management team.
• Organization of laboratory activities. Follow the processes defined in Guidelines and SOP’s.
• Proper documentation of all analytical activities according to Good Documentation Practices through compilation of all analytical testing records (e.g., notebooks, raw data hardcopies, analytical results sheets).
• Organization and execution of all internal functional testing of Devices according to current test methods, e.g. for method development, validation, release, design verification, investigation, feasibility, stability, and transfer testing.
• Development, optimization, implementation, and validation of analytical methods, e.g., for device functional testing.

Ideal requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Biomedicine, Chemistry, or Engineering; or equivalent related work experience. Minimum 5+ years related work
• Previous experience working in a similar role within Pharma
• Experience working with combination products
• Willingness to work in lab

Location: Basel, Switzerland

Schedule: Full time

Desired start date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months - initially
