About the role:
Astellas is searching for a committed and passionate Medical Science Liaison to join our team! As a Medical Science Liaison, you will engage external and internal stakeholders and demonstrate excellent scientific and clinical knowledge about Astellas’ products. Reporting to the Senior Medical Manager, this role will play a critical part in executing medical initiatives and supporting our business strategy. The successful candidate will be working in the Haematology and Oncology space with a newly launched product.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and build strategic Key External Expert partnerships and be a trusted advisor for scientific exchange
- Gather data from the field that generates medical insights
- Provide scientific support for speaker programs and symposia.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
- Provide iInternal support and training, being a subject matter expert for the brand and therapeutic area
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Understanding of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
- Experience in networking with senior/specialist healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated analytical skills and a solid understanding of research methodology
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills and use of digital resources
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous MSL experience
- Advanced understanding of the relevant therapeutic area(s)
- Flexible, customer-focused, and determined attitude
- Solution-oriented and effective problem-solving skills
Education/Qualifications:
- Medical / Science based higher degree e.g.e.g., Masters or PhD.
