They are on a transformational journey to change their customer engagement model with Healthcare Professionals, wanting to be the best partner for their customers and deliver customer experiences that are above and beyond what is experienced today.A vacancy has arisen for an Area Business Manager to cover the North of London area.This role reports directly into a Regional Business Director within the Diabetes Business Unit.
The Area Business Manager is responsible for leading a cross-functional team to deliver the local business plan through close interaction with key customers across the local health economy and direct line management of a team of Diabetes Account Specialists.
In this role you will have full commercial ownership of your local business region through the promotion and execution of our cross functional operating model, utilising all appropriate internal and external resources including Field Market Access, Diabetes Nurse Education Facilitators and Regional Medical Advisors to create a positive market access environment.
The ideal candidate should be educated to graduate level or equivalent, ideally have passed the ABPI exam and have a deep understanding of the complexity of the NHS/health framework within the UK. A formal management qualification is desirable.
You will be a commercially astute, positive, and dynamic leader with a track record of success in sales and business management within the pharmaceutical or medical devices sector and a true passion for directing, motivating, coaching and development of a team.
They are looking for a visionary leader who can prioritise, handle multiple tasks, and deliver to tight deadlines. Your communications and stakeholder management skills are well honed and enable you to build and maintain key relationships.
