Chemical Sorbent Design Team Leader

Location: Zurich, Switzerland


RESPONSIBILITIES


_ Designing high-performance reactors - development scope contains the structural layout of the reactor chamber, and specifically the design of sorbents
_ Lead a team of 4 Scientists/Engineers while also managing planning and recruiting
_ Responsible for auditing, training, and follow-up case of HS&E findings 
_ Collaborate with external suppliers of structured sorbent systems to guide its improvement
_ Assessment and maintenance of the reactor systems, optimizing it’s design for peak performance
_ Securing the IP for new development of system reactors


REQUIREMENTS 

_ Minimum MSc in Mechanical or Process Engineering
_ 10+ years of academic and industrial  experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in R&D
_ Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat-and mass transfer, additionally knowledge of mechanical systems in industrial applications
_ Solid network within the Sorbent structuring field
_ Expertise in filtering system - particular focus on sorbents and air flow optimization
_ Fluent in English, Germany is a plus
