The Role

• in your role, you will be responsible for effective supplier management, conduct contract and price negotiations and successfully conclude contracts;
• with know-how and foresight, you will also develop and implement measures to reduce costs and ensure the sustainable optimization of procurement costs;
• we also know that the creation of product group and supplier strategies as well as attentive procurement market research are in the best of hands with you;
• in addition, you will develop coherent risk plans and define tailor-made risk mitigation measures;
• the constant expansion of the purchasing shared service organization rounds off your demanding field of activity.

Who are you?

• successful studies in the field of business administration or industrial engineering;
• relevant professional experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in direct purchasing;
• sound process knowledge in the areas of sourcing, risk management and supplier management - know-how in GMP is a plus;
• fluency in spoken and written English;
• team spirit and negotiating skills paired with a cool head in every situation and an independent and flexible way of working.
