Job Details

We are partnered with an innovative early stage biotech who are working on reducing air pollution by leveraging their bioengineered plant technology. They are now looking for a talented scientist to join their R&D team and work towards clear product development deliverables.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work together in a team of talented scientists
  • Support in optimisation and implementation of FBA and RBA models to provide guidance to their plant metabolism engineering efforts
  • Perform, analyse, and interpret key plant physiology and metabolism engineering experiments
  • Actively work on transforming and regenerating their enhanced plants

Your background: 

  • PhD in plant science, plant molecular biology or plant biotechnology ideal 
  • Experience in plant cell culture, plant in vitro tissue culture, and protoplast manipulation of non-model plants ideal 
  • Expertise in molecular biology, plant cell biology and plant physiology
  • Expertise in CRISPR-Cas9 mediated plant genetic editing ideal but not necessary
