Freelance – Clinical Operations – Biomarker Studies

We are recruiting for a Biomarker Studies Operations Manager at a Belgian Biotechnology company. This is a fantastic  opportunity for an experienced Clinical Scientist or Operations specialist to join an innovative company and develop skills in Biomarker Operations.

Responsibilities

• To contribute to the preparation of biological analysis in clinical trials by:
• Participating in the selection of analytical laboratories and vendors
• Managing contracts working alongside a legal advisor
• Planning and following activities linked to biological analysis in clinical trials with varied service providers.
• Following up and monitoring activities relating to biological analyses during clinical trials to identify potential study/project issues. Contributing to the preparation of the budget relating to these activities as well as following up.
• Supporting the development of dedicated sections of interim analysis and study reports

Requirements

• Experience in a Clinical Operations and/or Clinical Scientist role
• 3 years’ experience organizing, implementing and monitoring analysis of biological markers. Experience in Biomarkers is not an absolute requirement as this can be developed in role.
• Good knowledge of clinical trials
• Be able to work on site in the South of Belgium
