Senior Operational Excellence Specialist

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Specialist located in Gaithersburg, MD with a leading CRO and biopharmaceutical company. This individual will be responsible for building reliability and resilience capabilities in operations as well as partnering with internal customers to drive excellence in operations, business processes and manufacturing processes in support of department priorities and strategies.

Job Responsibility:

• Deploying and executing supporting processes, practices, tools and methods for building reliability in operations
• Conducting Gemba in all areas supported and influencing others on continuous improvement efforts
• Conducting all operational excellence trainings
• Facilitating Kaizen and detailed process maps
• Demonstrating good communication skills across the organization
• Scoping and managing projects

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5 years of related experience; or Masters degree with 3 years of related experience; or PhD with no experience; or equivalent work experience
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
• Knowledgeable of cGMP and FDA regulations regarding the manufacture of biologics
• Efficiency in problem solving
