DETAILS:

  • Full-time contract position

THE ROLE:

  • You will be part of Client’s dynamic UK Health & Value team and will have the important role of managing the research studies for real-world evidence and outcomes research used in HTA, reimbursement, and market access.
  • You will lead operationalisation of these studies and projects by liaising cross-functionally to ensure all procurement, compliance, and legal requirements are met in study set-up and conduct.
  • The outcome of your studies will provide economic perspective for product portfolio decisions, marketing, product reimbursement strategies and regulatory agency submissions.
  • You will work with product reimbursement and clinical research teams to improve their strategies and programs. You will lead horizon scanning to identify key opportunities for innovation in real-world evidence, outcomes research, and/or outcomes-based agreements.
  • As a Senior Manager, your advanced knowledge of the principles and concepts in the discipline and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the division.
  • Develop ideas and lead/co-lead complex projects across business units and manage plans to achieve objectives. Identify and develop research plans for studies.
  • Drive high quality and comprehensive horizon scanning/landscape assessment to identify key opportunities for innovation in real-world evidence, outcomes research, and/or outcomes-based agreements.
  • Oversee business implementation of analytic strategies and identify opportunities for improvement. Understand National Health Service (NHS) policy and guidelines and their impact on different customer groups in relation to the key NHS targets.
  • Understand the The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Code of Practice and the requirements pharmaceutical companies must comply with to ensure ethical and transparent conduct of research

THE CANDIDATE:

  • 5+ years experience Demonstrated experience in evaluating and developing research/projects for inclusion in clinical trials, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), reimbursement, and/or market access
  • Pharmacy, Formulary Management, and/or Health Technology Assessment (HTA) market access experience
  • Practical experience in performing observational research, in any setting, including life-sciences company, research organization, academic institution or governmental agency Strong working knowledge of health economics and its application to health economic modelling/analyses
  • Only candidates with existing right to work in the UK/EU will be considered
