Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a designated Clinical Customer Focused Team to ensure that goals and objectives of the team are accomplished within prescribed time frames and in budget. Select, supervise, empower, coach, develop, and retain a team of qualified individuals including: Sr. Clinical Project Manager(s), Clinical Project Manager(s), Clinical Associate Project Manager II(s), Clinical Associate Project Manager(s) and Clinical Project Coordinator(s) while partnering with Quality and Operations to ensure that PCI delivers quality products, on time and in full. Drives project success through active leadership to provide PCI a competitive advantage in long-term customer management.

Select, supervise, empower, coach, develop, and retain a team of qualified individuals through effective employee development, performance management, succession planning, and recognition.

Ensure the appropriate team structure is in place by performing workload analysis in conjunction with the Clinical Leadership Team, to ensure we deliver on customer and business commitments. Establish team and individual goals and objectives in alignment with Australian and Global Clinical goals and customer requirements, supporting providing the industry's leading customer experience. Manage the training and development of the team including cross training initiatives and on-boarding of new employees to the team.

Ensure team financial performance goals are met. Manage expenses to meet approved budget while achieving departmental commitments and project objectives.

Provide recommendations for Capital Expenditures and budget spending when appropriate. Ensure strong alignment and coordination with other Clinical Customer Focused Teams and functional groups. Collaborate on best practices with other teams and clinical leadership.

Facilitate the daily team performance meeting to ensure goals and objectives are met and to build a culture of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Customer Service, and Continuous Improvement.

Collaborate with the appropriate Account Executives to ensure seamless communication with the customer, including working with them on future and existing business opportunities.

Assumes the role of the client advocate and acts as client escalation point for clinical projects. Oversee strategic, highly complex, large scale, and/or global clinical projects covering Clinical Packaging, Storage, Distribution, or a combination.

Promotes continuous improvement in all aspects of PCI Clinical Services, and contributes positively and proactively to the project management team.

Is willing to take a leadership role with process improvement initiatives to support PCIs promise of provide the industry's leading customer experience.

Engagement with Business Development and potential clients to ensure mitigation of risk and provide our clients with the best service and experience.

Provide the client with the highest level of professionalism, quality of work, communication, responsiveness, and status of deliverables.

Effectively facilitate a lessons learned with the client at the conclusion of studies to ensure we capture best practices, receive constructive feedback, and develop solutions and action plans to ensure future project success. In-depth understanding of clinical trial supplies.

Host and manage customer visits at PCI. Travel to client sites and other PCI sites as appropriate. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP and cGCP policies, procedures, rules and regulations as applicable to assigned clinical projects.

Ability to travel between 10 and 30 % of the year by car and/or airplane.

This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

Attendance to work is an essential function of this position Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. Leading and coaching various Continuous Improvement projects to drive overall standardization and efficiency across the global organization.
