Job Details

The Market Access team at Albion Rye Associates are thrilled to be partnering with a highly reputable and consistently growing HEOR consultancy to expand their management capacity. The organisation prides itself on its ability to combine commercial strategy and robust technical standards to provide holistic solutions for their clients.

They are looking for a Pricing and Market expert/leader to be their next Associate Director of Value & Access.

Role Responsibilities

Leadership/Direction (~35% of the role)

  • Contributing expertise on a technical and strategic level to both internal team and clients
  • Signing off deliverables and reviewing quality of methodologies/approaches
  • Ensuring operational consistency and quality through the implementation of new and current deliverable processes
  • Input on novel methodological approaches to enhance the consultancy’s service offerings and working approaches
  • Advanced knowledge or PRMA systems and practical ways of developing insights and strategic input to support the commercialisation of client products

Project Management (~35% of the role)

  • Delegating tasks appropriately via considered project planning
  • Signing off projects and ensuring all content is accurate and strategically compatible with the client’s objectives
  • Drafting robust project plans alongside project management associates; including forecasting project progress, key delivery points, and potential project risks
  • Monitoring efficiency and budget Managing associate and senior associates to ensure successful project delivery and supporting their continued development
  • Maintaining and building on the payer and KOL database/relationships

Business Development (~15% of the role)

  • Supporting the business development team through input on pitches and proposals to convert business leads, and actively manage the development of new offerings

Line Management and Internal Initiatives (~15% of the role)

  • Being first point of contact for questions and issues, providing actionable constructive feedback, and supporting the personal development plans of team members
  • Sign-off one or more internal initiative that contributes to the organisations culture, mission, and vision

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant prior experience within consultancy and/or within pharma (ideally 8+ years)
  • Proven expertise in pricing, reimbursement, market access and value communication
  • Strong experience in both people and project management
  • Experience leading business initiatives at management level
  • Ability to successfully manage several client accounts
  • Varied management level experience across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Broad knowledge of HTA processes and assessment methods on a global scale
  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in a Science, Economics, Business or related field
