Specialist II Patient Safety Services, UK Remote

Helping our clients make their clinical trials a success

As a Specialist II Patient Safety Services you will assist with the overall Clinical Safety and/or Patient Safetuy Service operations, with particular focus on audits and inspections, as well as quality issue resolution and implementation of process improvement initiatives/activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a strong understanding of safety reporting requirements for clinical trials across the globe
  • Have an in-depth understanding of all safety reports within clinical trials, including individual events as well as periodic reports
  • Prepare and deliver safety presentations, in particular:
    • Client capabilities meetings, as appropriate
    • "Department Overview" to internal clients
  • Participate or contribute to the development of departmental Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as appropriate
  • Participate in the generation of monthly status and other project-specific reports ensuring the quality and accuracy of metrics/data provided
  • Participate in client or regulatory audits, and support preparation if needed
  • Actively support quality issue resolution and implementation of process improvement initiatives/activities
  • Build and maintain good PSS relationships across functional units

Education
  • University/college degree life science preferred one or more of the following disciplines: Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, and Chemistry.or certification in a related allied healthprofession (i.e. nursing, medical or laboratory technology) from an appropriately accredited institution.


Experience
  • Safety experience including actual experience processing AE/SAE reports, generating narratives, queries, working within safety databases, and experience with regulatory submissions.
