Project Manager

I’m looking for a Project Manager for a leading pharmaceutical development business!

This growing international business, which employs approximately 20,000 people, continually prioritises its employees' involvement and professional growth.

Due to its broad scale, expertise in development sciences, delivery technologies, and multi-modality production, this company is a top industry partner for both blockbuster pharmaceuticals and individualised medications. Each year, this market leader helps to accelerate more than a thousand partner programmes and introduces just under 200 new products.

In this fast-paced & quality-driven environment, your role will be to plan, organise, produce, package, and distribute clinical trial medications from their site in Bathgate, Scotland.

The ideal candidate would possess the following preferred abilities, credentials, and experience:

• It is desirable that you have a science degree, an apprenticeship, or significant equivalent job experience
• You should be familiar with the pharmaceutical, biotech, and manufacturing sectors.
• It is imperative to have practical project management knowledge and experience, as well as to have great client-facing abilities and a drive to consistently meet or exceed client expectations
• Capacity to handle several projects while prioritising them and demonstrating leadership, negotiating, presentation, and facilitation abilities
• You will be able to lead teams and work with minimum supervision to achieve deadlines
• You will be at ease working in a multi-national team with different language needs
• You should consistently show a drive to fulfil and surpass client expectations
• You will be able to demonstrate proof of strong verbal and written communication abilities

The following will be the primary duties of this position:

• To fulfil your function, you will need to create and oversee project plans from beginning to end that adhere to the specified and agreed-upon timelines
• In addition to serving as the client's single point of contact and facilitating responses to their enquiries and observations, you will be expected to manage projects that may be located across one or more business lines or sites, depending on the assignment
• You will be in charge of facilitating and driving project completion as well as making sure the project adheres to scheduling and budget criteria
• Additionally, you will inform the Finance department of milestone accomplishments for billing purposes
• Serve as the main point of contact for all project team and client communications
• You'll take on the role of client advocate
