Due to an internal growth opportunity, we are looking for an experienced individual with a proposal development background to join IQVIA’s Global Business Operations (GBO) team in the UK.

GBO develops strategic proposals and budgets for our customers, and upon award, drives contract execution, including changes throughout the study lifecycle. This involves working with numerous internal and external stakeholders globally.

As a Senior PD/Proposal Manager at IQVIA you will be responsible for:

• Managing the end-to-end proposals process for large, complex opportunities with minimal oversight.
• Preparing proposal text and budgets in response to requests for proposal (RFPs) in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) including business development and strategy leads.
• Ensuring deliverables are aligned with the RFP, client specifications and communications, and internal assumptions.
• Suggesting and implementing pricing and proposal strategies, in collaboration with stakeholders, to customize and improve quality of proposals.
• Identifying potential risks to delivery and identifying and implementing mitigation strategies. Escalating to management when deliverables are at risk.
• Obtaining third party quotes as needed.
• Presenting budgets in client-specific/requested formats.
• Utilizing our tools and systems (e.g. proposal editing software, CRM system, etc.) and complying with all processes and policies relating to the development of proposals.
• Performing peer QC according to departmental procedures and guidelines.
• Providing advice, support and guidance as needed and serving as a mentor to colleagues.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

• Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business Management or related field and 5 years’ experience in Contracts or Proposals or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of CRO Industry.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and understanding of costing models.
• Excellent knowledge of proposals and budget processes and ability to interpret budgets and protocols.
• Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers.
