Director - Pre clinical

An opportunity has arisen to join a pharmaceutical titan and contribute to a key element of their life changing drug development team, driving results in a key position on the cutting edge of the industry.

As director of pre-clinical you will be pioneering remedies in the fields of oncology, cardiology and neurology. In vivo and in vitro methods are key, whilst working cross departmentally with the radiochemistry, chemistry, and clinical/regulatory affairs teams.

An expert knowledge of toxicology/ pharmacology/ biology will be a pivotal aspect in success. Diagnostic drug development, as well as Imaging (molecular/ ultrasound and more), and clinical affairs/ regulatory submission will be vital to ensure success.

Needless to say this is a leadership position so demonstrated responsibility, leadership and associated documentation experience will be a requirement.

Guide requirements:

• A PhD or equivalent in life science, pharmacology or biology
• Oncology/ cardiology/ neurology experience in a diagnostic or development capacity
• Imaging understanding (ultrasound, CT, MR, PET or SPECT)
• Regulatory, GLP or toxicology
• Initiative, accountability and persevering attitude
• Ability to produce high quality documentation
• Communication and presentation skills.
