On behalf of my client, we have a new vacancy for a Sales Specialist for their Point of Care Ultrasound Team.  This is a full-time permanent position covering all territories in Ireland.

Roles & Responsibilities:                             

  • Identify and support sales opportunities through clinical and educational customer needs
  • Assessment, product and procedural training, in-servicing, and required customer follow up 
  • Manage all business-associated administrative tasks and responsibilities to support job related activities; to include strict adherence to the policies and procedures,
  • Timely filing of required and/or requested reports, and documentation of activities via approved documents and forms
  • Keep current with medical literature, clinical initiatives/guidelines, competitive landscape, and industry trends
  • Communicate with Commercial Lead, marketing and other appropriate corporate departments.
  • Participate in educational, scientific, and promotional activies at identified local, regional and national tradeshows/exhibitions
  • Provide Clinical and technical support and advice to ensure customer relationships are maintained and sales targets are achieved
  • Actively carries out research to identify opportunities to further increase sales
  • Identify new opportunities and secure business development targets
  • Demonstrate and understanding of the objectives and priorities of your own market
  • Aware of the importance of budgets and stock control
  • Establish in-depth relationships with customers gaining credibility and truest based on specialist knowledge


Education & Skills:                                      

  • Strong sales drive and work ethic is essential, sales experience desirable but not a pre-requisite. 
  • A relevant professional registration, certification, or other credentialing as appropriate in Clinical Measurement / Ultrasonography.   
  • Self-motivated & ambitious with the ability to manage and plan workload.
  • Commercial understanding with a passion for healthcare and a can-do mindset.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Can communicate your message in a consistent, open and interactive way regardless of the situation or audience.
  • POCUS sales experience an advantage.
  • Operate at all times in a way that maintains a positive customer perception of the PEI brand. Understands and delivers on key behavioural standards, as set out with the Commercial Lead. 
  • Knowledge in cloud based and app-based applications desirable.
  • Understanding and experience of Health Care Compliance an advantage.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office. 
  • A clean, full driving license.
