Job Details
I am currently working with a very exciting and truly innovative biotech, whom after a very successful Series A funding are now looking to add an ambitious VP - Translational Medicine. They are focussed on using their exceptional technology to be able to understand the therapeutic benefits of the humans existing bacteria. Their initial focus is to move these newly created therapies into the clinic, with both highly ethical and highly effective strategy in place. This role will report directly into the board, and will offer someone an exceptional opportunity to slipstream the businesses growth with their own career.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Design and validate therapeutic live bacterial products.Secondary tasks include supporting the discovery team in identifying therapeutic candidates that drive favorable bacterial reactions. You will coordinate, evaluate, select and manage external CDMO's. Analyse biological and clinical samples.Your work will have a direct impact on the design and specifications of our therapeutic products.
REQUIREMENTS
A Ph.D. in a field related to biotechnology and microbiology, or equivalent qualificationExperience in pre-clinical and clinical development of bacterial therapies in the pharma/biotech industryA passion for life science and novel technologies - especially an interest for therapeutics development.Excellent analytical skills, hands-on problem-solving mindset and can-do attitude, and most importantly, a team-oriented individual.
