Digital Project Manager

Location: Remote

Salary DOE

huumun is a digital transformation business. Our work makes high science mean more to the people it touches. We create engaging digital experiences for leading pharma and medical sector clients worldwide. Our team combines digital tech, data science and creative skills. And together we transform life science brands for healthcare professionals and the patients they serve.

Why this role?

This is a dynamic role of tremendous range and challenge. An opportunity to tackle multiple concurrent projects at country and global level with prestigious clients.

You'll resource, co-ordinate and manage £50k-250K value digital projects from inception to delivery. That means working tightly with our presales and delivery teams, as well as taking a prominent role with client stakeholders.

It'll be your responsibility to plan, track and manage projects to completion. And so deliver on our promise to meet client timescales, budgets and quality expectations.

You'll be an ambassador for the huumun brand in everything you do. A team player, capable and willing to drive added value into each successful delivery based on our values and operating framework.

You'll need to show a creative approach to digital solutions and problem-solving. And be able to maintain effective, accurate communication flows within and between our project teams and clients.

We want you to drive your personal growth too - by highlighting areas where we can invest in your training, and seeking development opportunities.

What's involved
  • Supporting Account Management and Strategy teams in presales, to help define requirements.
  • Input to Statements of Work (SoW) by collating delivery team estimates to produce high level project plans.
  • Lead, co-ordinate and manage E2E digital project delivery processes - briefing delivery teams at kick-off and managing them through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Manage scope changes and any impact on budgets, resourcing or timelines.
  • Perform risk and issue management - working with client stakeholders to resolve their issues / concerns.
  • Manage project resourcing requirements.
  • Maintain solid documentation including project plans, CRs and issue tracking.
  • Support clients through stringent review and approval process

You'll also have some relationship management responsibilities. Not only internal resources, but also client stakeholders and 3rd party partners.

That means leading and documenting project status meetings - with the support of Senior PM's and Account Directors. And making sure project requirements are pinned down with clients and clearly documented.

On top of that, there's a key piece of good practice compliance to be done:
  • Making sure projects only proceed with an agreed SoW and purchase order.
  • Managing project RAID logs and producing regular financial status reports.
  • Working with Team Leads and Account Directors to manage and mitigate financial risks and issues.
  • Escalating issues and risks that could affect either client satisfaction or project delivery.
  • Ensuring we adhere to the pharmaceutical ABPI Code of Practice and any client-specific codes.
  • Seeking opportunities to drive continuous service improvement within projects.

All about you

You'll need to be an adept digital project manager, but also a champion of digital potential. Here's the kind of profile we're looking for - see how you match up:
  • Previous digital agency and / or pharmaceutical experience.
  • Strong self-organisation, workload planning and reporting skills.
  • Able to educate and inspire clients about the capabilities of digital to solve business problems.
  • Great at multi-tasking to deliver within a high-pressure environment.
  • Brilliant people skills - in person, in writing or when presenting.
  • Confident and comfortable engaging with clients.
  • Aware of best practice in UX, Information Architecture and UI design.
  • Solid MS-Office suite skills, including MS Project.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Project Management or a similar discipline.
  • Project management certification such as PMI, Agile, PRINCE2 or APMP.
  • Working knowledge of Jira tools and Veeva Vault PromoMats.
