The Opportunity
As the I&T Manufacturing Lead you will deliver services for the Australia Manufacturing site. You are the principal liaison between the site and the I&T organisation to ensure agreement and to ensure that both site and global I&T outcomes are met. This matrix role, role will also include being part of the site leadership team.
Reporting to the Vice President, E2E I&T Business Partner you will oversee the Business Technology activities for global applications and site infrastructure, resources and budget to support our needs. You will direct the Business Technology activities, resources and budget of site applications to support our needs.

As the I&T Manufacturing Lead you will deliver services for the Australia Manufacturing site. You are the principal liaison between the site and the I&T organisation to ensure agreement and to ensure that both site and global I&T outcomes are met. This matrix role, role will also include being part of the site leadership team.
Reporting to the Vice President, E2E I&T Business Partner you will oversee the Business Technology activities for global applications and site infrastructure, resources and budget to support our needs. You will direct the Business Technology activities, resources and budget of site applications to support our needs.
The Role
- Prepare site goals and budgets that are globally aligned to facilitate the orderly and efficient provision of I&T services to the Site. You will establish frameworks that supports both end-user computing and IT professional computing with proper balance to maximise benefits for the Site and the I&T organisation.
- Accountable for the efficient management of all resources; follow company policies, including physical, technology, financial and human in the delivery of I&T services to the business.
- You will partner with the E2E Portfolio Leader function to understand and contribute to overall I&T requests.
- You will be the local contact and relationship manager for any local vendors and representatives.
- Work site leadership on internal and external operations that are impacted by the capture, storage, processing and distribution of information including the approval of major Site I&T contracts for the provision of services and equipment.
- As part of the local leadership organisation, you will contribute to the development of I&T plans and strategies for the region
- Aligned with global IT procedures, develop all necessary procedures to assure proper documentation and communication of necessary controls. Implement I&T procedures to ensure governance and compliance requirements are met.
- Manage projects across the region and potentially across the Group.
- Maintain and follow I&T budget for activities and purchases of the site
- Develop IT strategies that are aligned with and lead the corporate business strategy with a long-term focus of 3 or more years.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science; a Masters Degree desirable
- 5 -10 years of progressively responsible Information Technology experience, including 5years of middle and senior level management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of a regulated industry is desirable.
- Experience working within a global, matrixed management organisation is desirable.
