Global Internship Program:

Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2023 Global Internship Program as an Intern Proposal Manager in Leeds!

As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. We have this opportunity available in three teams.

About the Teams:

CPS - You will be required to support and manage internal and external stakeholders involved with each deliverable, partnering with a team of dedicated individuals in driving the client enquiry to award process for your assigned region. Big picture thinking and a 'gets it done' mentality are key attributes needed for this role where your team play a key part of the client journey, being involved from the very first enquiry through to the close out of a study and touches every part of the Clinical Development business, resulting in a highly varied and influential role

FSPx - The Functional Service Provider (FSPx) proposal team supports the Labcorp Global Commercial Organization by completing Request for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) content from new and returning clients. We support RFPs and RFIs across functional services which includes Clinical (project management, clinical monitoring etc.), Data Solutions (data management, biostatistics, programming) and Safety.

Global Proposal Management Team - Supports LabCorp's client needs through project management of the development and delivery of proposal documents, including text and budgets. Our team works closely together with leaders across all functions of our business to develop persuasive and strategic documents as well as representative budget to support drug and medical device development studies.

Internship Assignment Summary:
  • Responsible for managing opportunities of low to medium complexity
  • Identifies and resolves issues around client enquiry requirements and Covance capabilities with support.
  • Performs quality control activities per the appropriate process/requirements
  • Liaise with third party vendors/vendor managers for provision of quotations and/or information where required.
  • Ensures timely delivery of assigned deliverables
  • Performs timely and accurate data entry into departmental and/or corporate databases/systems as appropriate


Education/Qualifications/Skills:
  • Working towards bachelor's degree in Life Science related subject
  • Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
  • Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
