Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new agile digital product management and implementation strategies role, you transform new digital technologies into use cases together with your interfaces in Development Biologicals, Biopharma Operations and beyond, in order to achieve accelerated and improved biologicals development and commercialization timelines.
  • You support the definition and implementation of the digitalization strategy for the department, especially the customer facing implementation and roadmap strategy, reporting to the Head of the department.
  • Thanks to your expertise and knowledge, you establish new methods for multidimensional data-sets to meaningfully correlate and interpret development and manufacturing data of biological processes.
  • Additionally, analyze business requirements and technology-/market trends with regards to digitalization, especially for advanced modeling technologies and their applications in the Development Biologicals business context.
  • You play a key role in the implementation of digital transformation projects, namely the Holistic Process Model Full Development Phase, within Development Biologicals together with the Head of the department, Global Innovation & Alliance Management and other relevant interfaces in Biologicals Development, e.g. IT.


Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Physics or a related field
  • In depth understanding of opportunities and limitations within the area of Big Data Algorithms, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience in leading agile, multidisciplinary projects in complex, multi-functional environments and/or large companies
  • Good understanding of biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes
  • Strategic mindset and ideally experience in formulating and implementing new technology strategies
  • Ability to translate the business requirements and opportunities into applicable actions and to present complex matters in a simple and understandable way
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English to ensure the required exchange with the core CMC as well as with relevant stakeholders in senior and executive management and across interfaces
