Principal Biostatistician

PRINCIPAL BIOSTATISTICIAN

£70,000- 90,000 pa + excellent company benefits package and bonus

Leading pharmaceutical company in oncology, cardiology, respiratory and rare disease. This is a full-time UK based permanent and hybrid working opportunity.

YOUR ROLE:

• Work as the lead biostatistician, including running delivery and oversight on drug development projects.
• Contribute to developing statistical methodology
• Assess the benefit, risk, value and uncertainty of the emerging product
• Investigate and apply novel statistical approaches, for statistical issues, regulatory guidance and value demonstration
• Ensure high quality delivery within specified time frame
• Support other junior members of the team, including training
• Lead the statistical aspect in delivery of studies, development plans, regulatory strategy, and commercial activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• MSc or PhD in Statistics or Mathematics (containing a substantial statistical component)
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or CRO setting
• Strong leadership skills to be able to lead and direct projects
• Experience with and in-depth knowledge of regulatory submissions
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams globally
• Ability to apply statistical skills to solve complex problems
