Summary of the Position :

We are seeking a Facility Technician II to support day-to-day facility activities. Assisting engineering and facilities this position will provide facilities support and execute handyman type jobs (electrical, plumbing, and mechanical) as well as participating in general plant support for Facility Engineering Supervisor.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
  • Ensure multiple facilities are well-maintained by performing routine facility inspections and reporting inspection results. Initiate and track-to-completion resulting corrective actions under minimal supervision.
  • Provide a moderate level of troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair of building systems, equipment and includes but equipment components which not limited to: Building automation, piping, and plumbing components, facility equipment.
  • Coordinating and oversee the maintenance, organization, and control of Facilities documents and files, including activities such as filing, assembling files, document retrieval, copying, and document control.
  • Oversee and maintain the repair of facilities equipment which includes but is not limited to wall systems, floorings, roofs, HVAC, security system, electrical and lighting, and fire protection systems Plan and execute minor repairs to mechanical problems. (i.e. Hang pictures, white boards, paint, minor wood work, door repairs etc.).
  • Understand HVAC and make minor adjustments and repairs. Coordinate outside vendors to support manufacturing processes as assigned. Work with venders and department owners for scheduling of maintenance and potential down times
  • Support with CMC plant and personnel moves, help move office furniture.
  • Conducting all activities in the most careful and safe manner and in full compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
  • Ensuring that at all times, equipment, facilities and materials used in the area of responsibility comply with defined standards.
  • Identifying areas for continuous improvement and escalate those to the respective manager.
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by the line manager in accordance with company requirements.
  • This job requires on call availability 24/7

Minimum Requirements :
  • High school diploma, Attended Trade school or Apprenticeship preferred.
  • 5 years' experience in performing maintenance duties.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal Skills
  • MS Office Applications, Word, Excel, MS Project.
  • Ability to interact cross-functionally is essential.
  • Exceptional practical problem solving skills.
