This is an exciting new sales opportunity to work for a market leading healthcare company as a Strategic Partnership Manager. 

Reporting to Head of Strategic Sales, this role delivers several key priorities for the business aligned to the changing NHS. This includes ensuring market access across the UK for The Company brands and services in Chronic Care; by driving NHS understanding of Bladder and Bowel management, delivering sustainable services and pathways and improving access for patients to consistent high-quality care. The role will also have accountability to prepare the market for breakthrough innovations and focus ICS endorsement of The Company Charter as a healthcare provider.

In this role you will:
Work closely with NHS and the associated healthcare professionals to embed products and services.
Have strategic responsibility for identifying solutions that support partnerships with these NHS organisations to achieve their objectives whilst also driving sales and account growth. 
Partner with Regional Business Leader to evaluate business data and environmental information to agree on business priorities.
Identify, build and deliver Excellence in Stoma care, using mechanisms for change such as Business Cases as the conduit (funding, patient and referral flows)
Ensure all Company Charter and products have full market access across the region.
Prepare the region and allocated ICSs with market access activity for current products, pipeline products and service launches across Chronic Care.
Assist in the development of local care standards and patient pathways for Company products and services.
Be at the forefront in knowledge of the funding flows and understand the priorities and strategy of each allocated ICS.
Map and manage ICS stakeholders through strong relationships.
Engage with other wider system stakeholders to understand the benefit to the Company (e.g. APC, AHSN or local authorities)
Leverage provider and payor support, in collaboration with Territory Managers and Regional Business Leaders, to positively influence formularies and facilitate new Stoma pathways.
Demonstrate key influence and understanding of national or regional working groups and KOLs and, where appropriate, be involved with activities, providing insightful political intelligence over the shape of health policy and NHS activities.

Qualifications:

Essential: Full UK drivers’ licence
Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree, BA in Business / Economics or equivalent 
 

The Person/Experience:

Experience of working in a medical/pharmaceutical environment in a similar role.
Experience of working with NHS bodies, and Senior Stakeholders in a payer environment.
Record of successfully developing key opinion leaders.
Key account management and stakeholder engagement.
Strong understanding of the NHS landscape and how it affects local delivery of healthcare.
Full understanding of the market dynamics in the country: reimbursement / competitors / customer group levels / government.
Experience of patient pathways from the acute sector through to management in primary care.
Commercial acumen with an ability to focus on proactively identifying opportunities, delivering creative objectives and solutions.
Ability to understand data, analysing and using insights to define objectives and deliver results.
Track record in successful Project Management.
Excellent selling, influencing and negotiation skills.
Demonstrates ability to horizon scan opportunities and develop strong business plans to influence the wider business.
A strong drive for results.
High standard of oral and written communication, including well developed presentation skills.
