We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant at our site in Alconbury, Cambridgeshire who will be responsible for the general upkeep of the laboratory and equipment in our Dose Analysis department.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Assigning laboratory reference numbers to samples received from Formulation and Inhalation Analysis studies
  • Maintaining adequate stocks of consumable items, including sample filters, regents, sample vials and paper
  • Ordering external supplies and lab consumables
  • Cleaning and drying laboratory glassware
  • Assisting in the calibration and verification of routine laboratory equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations regarding the generation of raw data and the labelling, storage and use of samples, standards and reagents
  • Maintaining a clean tidy working environment
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance of systems and procedures and that quality of work / data meets required standards
  • As part of progression in the role, you may assist in the analysis of samples for Formulation and Inhalation Analysis studies under constant supervision
