Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a brilliant consultancy organisation on a permanent basis located in Ludwigsburg with hybrid working available. Our client is focused on becoming experts in engineering design, product development, smart manufacturing and digitalisation.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this position, you will be using SAP systems for BOM management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within agile settings, as well as have conversations with third party suppliers and providers.
  • You will handle task planning and supervising and discuss with offshore teams.
  • Outline electrical hardware architecture design, oriented on design for cost, quality and manufacturability.
  • Comprehend project product needs and evolve detailed technical need specifications.
  • The ideal candidate will design product architecture, system block diagram, etc.
  • Manage cable routing and wiring diagram production using solid works electrical.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in an electrical engineering discipline.
  • Know-how of ISO 61010 family of standards such as DIN EN 61010-1 VDE 0411-1:2020-03 Safety needs for electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use, not machines corresponding to the Machinery Directive but laboratory equipment corresponding to IVDR.
  • Able to make good decisions.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
