Proclinical are working alongside a pharmaceutical establishment who are currently recruiting for a Clinical Trials Manager - Oncology to join their team. This role is on a contract basis inside IR35 and is located in Uxbridge with hybrid working available. The client is focused on producing novel remedies for diseases which are life threatening.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle European component of international phases II - III outsourced studies handle by a clinical program manager.
  • Organise evaluations of data listings and plan interim/final clinical study documents.
  • Guarantee efficiency of site budget/contract process.
  • You might be asked to mentor CROs, suppliers, investigators, and study organisers on study needs.
  • The ideal candidate will draft and organise evaluations of pertinent papers which involves protocols, notified consents, case report forms, monitoring plans, investigator brochures, and clinical study documents.
  • Partake in the development of RFPs and contribute to the selection of CROs/suppliers.
  • Uphold study deadlines.
  • To guarantee trial progression, you will engage with cross-functional teams both on an internal and external basis.
  • When needed, you will perform oversight monitoring visits.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a scientific field.
  • Familiarity with oncology.
  • Acquaintance in multinational clinical trials which involves study management/organisation, ideally within the EU.
  • Prior involvement in supervising would be beneficial but not necessary for the role.
  • Know-how and comprehension of FDA and EU guidelines, ICH regulations, and GCPs regulating the performance of clinical trials.
  • Comprehension of protocol needs with the ability to convey it to others.
  • Capable of contributing to various divisions or inter-divisions tactical initiatives while under minimal supervision.
  • Functional knowledge to assist in SOP development and execution.
