Job Details

-You increase market share in the Acute Care business area in the sales territory by expanding existing customer orders, i.e. supports existing customers (e.g. laboratory communities, laboratory physicians, blood banks, dialyses, hospitals / university laboratories, administrative staff, decision makers and opinion leaders), and acquires new customers on the basis of regular customer visits. In doing so, as a medical device consultant, you will mediate between users and companies on diagnostic issues.


-You will also promote and sell products by advising, training and providing technical support to customers and according to sales and marketing action plans.
-This also includes organizing device demonstrations with or without the support of the System Consultant/Acute Care Support Specialist with the aim of device placement; in case of large projects, this part will be taken over by the responsible Key Account Manager, whereby the support of the customer will be transferred back to the Area Manager at the latest with the device presentation.


-Furthermore, you will record all important market information in a customer relationship management tool - this includes, for example, general market trends, information about products and activities of competitors as well as telephone calls / visit reports and your own planning.


-Your other duties will also include organizing local sales and training events in coordination with the responsible Regional Sales Manager and Marketing, as well as supporting the inside sales team with customer-related data for quoting and ordering.

On a monthly basis, you will monitor sales per customer and material purchases for diagnostic pricing or flat rate customers and initiate appropriate actions with the customer as necessary.
-Likewise, you will provide telephone support in case of equipment failures and coordinate equipment replacement installation if necessary.
