I am partnered with a global medical education company who are looking for an experienced Strategic Account director to join them on a permanent basis.

The client is a fast paced, forward thinking agency who specialise in providing relevant, informative & practical education for healthcare professionals to help improve patient outcomes.
You will be an experienced & knowledgeable individual contributor, who has sold into pharma & biotech’s with a particular focus on medical affairs, brand & marketing departments.
A critical function of this role is to understand your client’s business objectives & desired outcomes through HCP engagement. Offering you clients a consultative sell, you will be responsible for the continued growth of the life science business.
The role consists on new business development, winning new logos and managing existing accounts, whilst expanding & growing their revenues of business.
Responsibilities:
- Understand your target accounts & identify key stakeholder’s & decision makers
- Consult on your client’s business objectives, providing them with a solution sell
- Liaise with internal & cross functional teams to ensure proposals & projects can be delivered in a timely & cost-effective manner for your client
- Follow the sales cycle through end to end
- Act as a point of contact for your client
- Keep up to date on industry trends, ideas & products
The ideal candidate:
- Degree educated or above – (ideally in life science / science / business / sales & marketing – is desirable but not essential)
- Have the legal right to live and work in the USA – be able to travel nationally
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience selling medical education, healthcare digital promotional solution or medical communications
- A proven track record in sales & billings as an individual contributor
- Be self sufficient with a hunter mentality
- Be confident & comfortable in presenting to clients
