The Role:

At our site in Harrogate, we are currently recruiting for a Scheduler to join the BiopharmCMC division.

The CMC business unit; provides dedicated release and stability testing from preclinical phases through the commercial life of a product. The CMC team support method development, transfer, phase appropriate validation & assay establishment of large molecules. We structure ourselves to deliver scientific expertise to our clients; collaborating closely with them to support the development of medicinal products through the drug development process and onto market.

Job Responsibilities include:
  • Working as part of the Global BiopharmCMC Lab operations team, to support the Capacity Manager in the scheduling of all BioPharmCMC analytical work.
  • Providing internal Clients with a central point of contact for the scheduling of all analytical work.
  • Using appropriate tools to support the successful initiation, planning, execution and completion of all analytical work performed with the division.
  • Working with the Project teams and Operational scientists to ensure that Client requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Liaising with project teams and departmental management to ensure effective dissemination of up to date project information.
  • Identification and introduction of new scheduling processes and contributing to development of scheduling tools used.

Experience:
  • Required: The ability to get things done by influencing others and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Required: Understanding of laboratory operations and analytical techniques used.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in a lab operations scheduling role.
