Responsibilities

As a CDP (Clinical Data Programming) Lead, you will bring your strong experience in SDTM and SAS in order to support the ICON business as freelancer with the possibility to work remotely from anywhere in Europe. Key responsibilities:
  • Annotate CRFs in accordance with CDISC (SDTM) published or sponsor specific guidelines with appropriate metadata to reflect case report tabulation (CRT-SDTM) datasets.
  • Create SDTM dataset specifications as per specified study requirements in adherence with the SDTM standards.
  • Review and QC SDTM CRF, SDTM dataset and SDTM specifications among others.
  • Plan and work with SDTM programming group to schedule programing validation and ongoing delivery activities, manage timelines for SDTM programming set up process & ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring that SDTM timelines are met and SDTM deliverables are of high quality.
  • Adhere to Data Management department QC procedures.
  • Create and maintain study documentation as required in accordance with SOPs.
  • Serve on project teams to co-ordinate and lead development activities for multiple clinical data programming projects. Attend meetings, participates in discussions, use an analytical approach to problem solving, focuses on deliverables.
  • Attend sponsor audits and assists with in-progress audits.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience within Clinical Data Programming.
  • Significant hands on experience in creating & QC'ing SDTM dataset specifications as well as SDTM datasets.
  • Experience in programming using SAS, gained within Clinical Trials.
  • Knowledge of medical/biological terminology and clinical trial designs in relevant therapeutic areas
  • Good written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills
