Key Responsibilities:

  • For this role, you will offer support for drafting and evaluating other types of commercial and supplier contracts when required.
  • When requested, you will draft contract language to acknowledge unique situations/concerns.
  • Recognised training requirements and support in the development and presentation of training and teaching concerning legal needs and developments.
  • The ideal candidate will support in planning and deliberating commercial contracts and agreements with suppliers, hospitals, group purchasing associations, providers, government bodies, and health care professionals.
  • You will serve as the main point of contact for certain contracts for customers on an internal basis as well as for shareholders on an external basis.
  • Might also serve as the main point of contact for certain commercial and provider contacts for the establishment.
  • Deliberate and redline aberrations from standard templates.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level or pertinent experience in a legal role. Or educated to an advanced degree level in a law, paralegal studies, healthcare correlated, management information sciences and/or business discipline.
  • Fluency in the French language.
  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience within a commercial legal and/or regulatory role, with work experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or any other health care business and/or hospital/health system organisation.
  • At least 5+ years of experience and know-how of standard commercial contracting.
  • Comprehension of terms and forms of contracts.
  • Able to draft regularly or reasonably multifaceted papers for evaluation by senior management.
  • Capable of thinking critically regarding the business objectives of the company throughout contract drafting.
  • Ability to support in follow up deliberations on contract and commercial matters.
  • Past involvement in a corporate legal role or similar within a multinational/Fortune 500 organisation or law firm.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications as well as Adobe Acrobat.
