We currently have a Senior Vaccines Brand Manager, opportunity available for an experienced pharmaceutical brand manager within our high-profile vaccines therapeutic area. This role reports into the Senior Marketing Manager, Adult Vaccines. The purpose of the role is to successfully bring to market a new GSK vaccine and drive long term uptake and growth for the business.

Your role will be varied and will include:
  • Develop and implement a robust and innovative marketing plan aligned to brand strategy that engages customers through available face-to-face and digital channels to create a personalised omni-channel experience for our customers.
  • Pipeline assessment for new asset and indication including prelaunch strategic planning
  • Lead & influence a cross functional brand team to assist in the development & delivery of key brand strategy and initiatives
  • Align with global strategic brand/business plans, deliver an Australian strategic plan in collaboration with cross-functional team - both product and disease awareness (consumer) strategies.
  • Engage with global brand team and represent Australia on co-creation teams for global HCP promotion and disease awareness strategies and activities (TBD).
  • Lead the execution of a multi-channel private market brand strategy, including a content strategy, traditional print and digital promotion, advertising, meetings, public relations, sales force engagement, CRM strategy using a range of platforms to maximise the customer experience and appropriately integrate different elements of the promotional mix, including Consumer disease awareness multichannel mix.
  • Work with Medical to develop & implement External Experts (EE) engagement strategy leveraging available face-to-face and digital channels to support brand strategy, including medical education initiatives, scientific/clinical meeting activities and support for medical/scientific congress and conferences.

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Tertiary qualification - preferably in Business or Science
  • Pharma brand marketing experience required (Vaccines experience preferred)
  • Experience utilising multichannel promotion, digital promotion & consumer disease awareness campaigns & strategic prelaunch planning
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical Industry, competitors, customer trends, govt, current affairs, launch process
  • Excellent business acumen and communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Candidates with prelaunch and launch experience will be highly regarded
  • Customer focus, teamwork and relationship building skills
