Director , Technical Accounting

The Role

• Preparing and reviewing quarterly SEC filings (10-Q, 8-K, 10-K). Reviewing iXBRL for all SEC filings.
• Manage cloud-based lease application oversight over quarterly IBR assessment for lease accounting.
• Provide well-supported and documented interpretation of GAAP literature and identify relevant changes in accounting guidance .
• Assist the corporate controller in implementing any new accounting standards.
• Prepare technical accounting memos to support Catalent’s accounting positions as required.
• Preparing newly issued/modifications assessment and required documentation for the Company’s debt funding transactions and managing comfort letter process with external auditors.
• Reviewing quarterly SAB 99 and going concern memos.

The Candidate

• 7+ years progressive accounting and finance experience in public accounting or with a publicly traded company
• Previous experience with SEC reporting
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Pharmaceutical or Life Science Industry a plus
