Project Manager - Swiss MedTech - Cutting edge technology

Located in German speaking Switzerland, with excellent transport connections within mainland Europe, our client is well known for design, development, industrialization and manufacture for medical device markets, and more recenlty collaborating with the Pharma industry as well. With strong investment into R&D and a solid future product pipeline, a new position has opened up for a project manager to join the team.

Main Tasks

• Management and implementation of development projects from planning and initiation, throughout execution until close-out, bridging the gap between the production team and/or development team and the end client
• Project progress monitoring and reporting on deadlines, personnel resources, costs and investments, from placement of the order to conclusion of the project.
• Leading interdisciplinary project teams, and interfacing with internal and external, international partners to coordinate project activities.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards

This would typically suit someone with an engineering background (microtechnology or mechanical engineering), who had gained industry experience in the development of complex mechatronic devices utilising plastic parts (ideally in the Medical Devices sector), and who had then moved into managing such projects.

Additional training and certification in business administration and/or project management is desirable

Strong communication skills are essential with Business level English a MUST, and German fluency a huge bonus.

Professionals with experience from other tightly regulated industry sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace, Railways, Plastics processing, or Pharmaceutical, are also welcome to apply
