Location: Verona, Italy - home/office based

Schedule: Full-time, Permanent

CROMSOURCE is a growing international CRO dedicated to professional development and providing an excellent work-life balance, with a quality-focused, collaborative "one-team" culture, and we are looking for a dynamic person to join our in-house team in Verona as Senior Accountant/Controlling Associate. You will be in charge, reporting to the Administrative Director, of two foreign subsidiaries of our group with the responsibility of reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts. You will also be part of the Controlling Department creating financial reports, budgets, cost reports, and financial forecasts on a regular basis.

In your role you will be able to work independently while also being able to communicate effectively with other members of our team. This position often has a high degree of visibility within our organization as well, so strong communication skills are essential.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Supports the Account Receivables & the Controlling Department in monitoring the financial and economic control of the company performance (budgeting focus)
  • Supports the management control process for costs and income budget, review, and forecast
  • Prepares strategic financial plans related to the income of the group with invoicing, job reporting, and credit management
  • Creates financial reports, budgets, cost reports, and financial forecasts on a regular basis
  • Is responsible for the data reporting of BI (Business Intelligence), job marginality, deviation between budget hours and actual hours, alignment of resources data
  • Assists in dealing with the external consultants for the outgoing projects (financial side of contracts, deviation analysis, outcome)
  • Analyzes Intercompany activities and invoices


Education and Experience:
  • University Degree in Economics
  • 5 years (at least) of Finance/Controlling experience


Specific Role Requirements and Skills:
  • Fluent in English and local language(s)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong skills in setting priorities and time management
  • Ability to handle many projects, multitask and stress
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
