International Supply Chain Manager

Hobson Prior are looking for an International Supply Chain Manager to join a brilliant medical devices organisation on a permanent basis located in Solothurn. Our client is focused on creating and producing devices to help with treating oneself.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will be accountable for the operational assistance of all supply chain subjects in contract manufacturing completed goods and merchandise such as medical devices with external associates.
• Handle both internal and external meetings within the division.
• Manage both the development and review of KPIs within the division.
• Contribute to the production of contracts/agreements with providers with tactical purchasing and product management.
• Generate, supervise and purchase orders and procurement plans.
• The ideal candidate will handle systematic resources and availability planning.
• Coordinate transport and guarantee the import as well as the export process in collaboration with the specialist division.
• You will guarantee and execute GMP-compliant change management with providers and internal organisation.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Technical vocational trained with further training such as HF, TS, or FH within the area of logistics or supply chain management.
• At least 5 years of experience in the same or similar role.
• SAP abilities such as modules MM, SD, PP.
• Solution focused work with a hands-on mindset.
• Personal accountability, client focused and cross-divisional thinking and acting.
• Know-how in project management and the industrialisation of products within medical technology.
• Capable of importing and exporting knowledge within a global setting.
• Fluency in the German and English languages.
• Know-how of GMP.
• Prior involvement in lean management.
