As chief technology officer for my client you will be helping to grow and develop their AI and automation. They are looking for a motivated individual with a leadership mindset, focused on improving their strategies. The company are working on a data platform aimed towards diagnosing and curing cancer at its most actionable and early stages. It is an impressive project to be working on with a phenomenal cause.

Responsibilities:

• Participate as a member of the senior management team in governance processes of our product offering and technology architecture. Develop the Machine Learning algorithms and improve efficiency Collaboratively work with Product Management to define the product roadmap and establish an implementation plan. Lead strategic technological planning to achieve our goals by prioritizing technology projects and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of all technologies. Establish a vision, act as an inspirational advisor, challenge the status quo and build a strong team while creating a climate for learning and promoting psychological safety. Oversee recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all technical staff following corporate budgetary goals and personnel policies. Have a grasp of multiple technologies and technical practices including test automation, security, continuous integration, continuous testing, operational monitoring, cloud infrastructure and disaster recovery. Develop the strategic technology plan by identifying, tracking, and experimenting with new and potentially disruptive technologies. Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable regarding industry trends and latest technologies in anticipation of new business processes and system alterations. Ensure continuous delivery of technical services through oversight of service level agreements with end-users and monitoring of systems, programs, and equipment performance.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Multiple years of experience managing or directing technological operations within the software and services industry Experience in strategic technology planning, execution, and policy development. Understanding of large-scale systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities. Knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems. Exposure to business theory and budgeting processes. Experience planning, organization, and development and project management principles Ability to apply technology solutions to business problems. In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations as they relate to software (e.g. GDPR, PCI).
