Job Details

My client is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) specialist, partnered with world-class organisations, providing AI products and solutions to a range of clients internationally, and are seeking a Bioinformatician.

 

The role:

  • Collect and collate biological data
  • Develop computational biology tools
  • Perform data analysis and modelling 
  • Provide insight and suggest improvements to the development of ML-based tools
  • Instruct and train the ML team in terms of life sciences 

 

Required:

  • Masters degree or higher in Bioinformatics or a related discipline
  • Experience across Bioinformatics, Data Science and Statistics 
  • Experienced in software engineering (Python, Linux)
  • Understanding of molecular biology

 

Beneficial:

  • Understanding of genomics, proteomics, and/or immunology
  • Knowledge of biochemistry and structural biology
  • Experience with machine learning
  • Experience with HPC
